Programme 2012


Indoor meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month from January to April and again from September to December, beginning at 7.30 p.m. Meetings will be at the Shirehall in Abbey Foregate unless otherwise noted. Visitors are welcome at most meetings - please contact a member of the Committee for further information.

From April to September there are apiary meetings. These take place on Saturday afternoons beginning at 2.30 p.m.

18th August Autumn feeding, treating for varroa with thymol;
queen introduction
15th September Preparing for winter; uniting colonies;
pest protection; winter stores
24th Nov or 1st Dec Winter oxalic acid treatment for varroa;
emergency winter feeding
